The start to the day was the worst. A gal from our (my wife's) church was hit and killed yesterday morning. She was crossing the street to go vote at 6am. Don't have many details. She was 87 but didn't look it or act like it. She was one of those people you would expect to be going full speed when she turned 100. Now we're waiting on funeral details.
And then the elections happened. But what did I expect living in a red state?
tRUMP won Missouri by a bunch. They were expecting a 6% win for him. Last I knew he was ahead by 19%.
The democratic candidate for governor got stomped.
The democratic candidate for my State Senate district was losing by 6% at last count. (lost)
The democratic candidate for my State Rep district was losing by close to 20%.
The democratic candidate for the 2nd congressional district was losing by 4%. They haven't called that race yet but it doesn't look good. (lost)
And I can't believe tRUMP and Biden are as close as they are right now nationally, 11:30pm CST. I gotta' get ONE of my guys in. They were saying it may come down to those two separate districts, one in Nebraska and one in Maine. tRUMP just can't win! NO!

I pray to God the new's not fake.
I have such a sick feeling in my stomach. Four more years of this crap will be miserable.
I am so sorry to hear about your friends passing. How awful.I can't fathom another 4 yrs unless he has us all nuked before then.
In 2016 and possibly 2020, Trump would have been easy to beat, but the Dems aren't running any good candidates.
And condolences on your friend passing.

As for Biden, things are looking up for him this morning.

MPP - Maybe it's a good thing we won't know for a while. It gets us closer to Jan 20 and less time for him to mess with things if he loses.
MD - Sad but true. I don't know why things went like they did in the democratic primaries.

Finally got a new State Rep who I supported. The guy I wanted for Honolulu mayor is in. And I'm hoping that Trump will melt like the wicked witch any minute. Thanks for caring and participating Mike. Sorry to hear about your friend
