This is what it's like trying to talk to right-wing extremists.
JUST A REMINDER...

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Sadly, yes.
Some people will complain in heaven, as the saying goes.
My thought is -- Never accept criticism from someone you wouldn't go to for advice.
You just can't make some people happy. I don't even try any more.
Sue - Agree totally.
Deb - Yep!
John - I like it.
Kathy - Good advice for everyone.
Oh my goodness this is so accurate. I can't seem to please most so I no longer try to please anyone but me. A blogger posted what he felt was terribly offensive. His commentators agreed. Rick and I found it hysterically funny, albeit a bit sick, and Rick in essence would have been the butt of the joke. (being adopted) I don't get people anymore and the more I try the more I don't care for them so I better not dig. :-)
Peg - That sounds like a great blog post for you. If not, email me the URL, I'm curious.
Have any idea where that cartoon originated? It may very well have been written and drawn by a right wing extremist. I've seen people I know to be Trump supporters where T-shirts that read "Orwell was right", though I have no reason to believe the person who designed the T-shirt shared that political sentiment (though he criticized communism, Orwell himself was a socialist, so you just never know.)
Kirk - I don't know the origin. I just found it laying around on the internet.
Things like this are why I developed the Gohmert Stupidity Scale ... which I just updated this morning (Friday, July 17th) to clean up a few mistakes.
Some people are always negative, no matter what the situation. Let them! Ignore them if you can. Some medication would probably help some of them...
It opens up a whole new life when you learn to just ignore the assholes
Cloudia - So true.
