Here's proof that the earth is flat.
Don't look at a tennis ball too closely. You'll find out it's actually flat!
But wait! Logic to the rescue.
And then there is the absolute proof. The earth's axis.
OK, I saved the ... longest for last. This is a 10 minute video. You can watch a few minutes of it and move on if you want to. I watched the whole thing. The guy is funny. (from 2014)

I'm reminded of The Crimson Permanent Assurance, the Terry Gilliam-directed short that precedes Monty Python's The Life of Brian. Modern day pirates destroy one corporation after another, basically overthrowing capitalism, only to have their own sailing vessel destroyed when modern day theories on the shape of the Earth prove "disastrously wrong."
Kirk - So let's build a time machine and go back and sav... watch them go over.
The earth is clearly not flat, although Republicans are doing their best to iron it into that shape.
Interesting.
Also interesting is how effing gullible people are.
How quaint flat-earthers seem now when compared to today's more vicious and virulent crop of MAGA and Q-Anon idiots.
Mike, yesterday I was referring to the USWNT soccer, the outstanding wo-girl-s team at the Olympics, they play the Netherlands on Friday in the quarter-final in a rematch of the 2019 wo-girl-s World Cup Final, it might be a classic. BTW Mike, on this post you were the one who girl-tioned the time machine first, that's usually my function ! ! !, perhaps you`re now (completely understandably!) thinking subconsciously and subliminally about the quite astonishing 17-year-old Pauline Hickey from 36 years ago.
Bill - It's a good thing there aren't many blacksmiths left. They would have them pounding away on anybody that stuck their smarter than them head too high.
John - Is it gullible or are they just messing with us? Surely there can't be that many gullible people can there? Oh wait, tRUMP. Nevermind.
Deb - That is the sad truth. Let's all do a facepalm together while we think about that.
LJ - I haven't been keeping up with soccer. Looks like they might have a chance.
There was a novel about plainsmen aka flatearthers called Gullibles Travels.
Stu - And the gullible don't realize they are traveling in circles.
I always wondered about that.
I knew it!
Native Americans viewed turtles holding the flat earth.
Susan - Now you know even though you knew it.
The real question would be what were the turtles standing on?
