There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

It makes a heap of sense to this tree hugger.
Sue - I'm surprised someone hasn't bottled phytoncide.
I've loved spending time in forests since I was a child, and I didn't even know about phytoncides. For once, I guess I was ahead of my time.
Yep
It's definitely a thing.
Pythoncides? OK, I guess you wouldn't need to worry about snakes in the forest, but you'd still probably be eaten by a bear.
Nothing more relaxing than a walk in the woods.
Some people swear by it. I believe them!
I'm doomed! I live in the city surrounded by buildings. But there is a tree across the street from my condo! Will that save me? Only the tree knows!
PS. I do get away to the country every weekend and walk in the woods.
Bill - You have plenty of trees behind your house. Build yourself a treehouse.
John - It's a good thing too.
I753 - There's no bears in the woods! That's just a rumor started by the loggers to keep you out of the woods so they can cut the trees down. So take a woodsy walk. But take some bear spray. You know, just in case.
We have black bears back in Missouri and in the St. Louis area. There was one running around neighborhoods not far from here. It was tranquilized in a tree and moved back to the... woods.
CC - I should do it more often. I mean I should do it.
Deb - Apparently it was prescribed by doctors over 100 years ago.
Shaw - That's more than I do.
4 years working in Northern California made me feel really old really quick. I wasn't well. Back home on Honolulu, I walk among trees and open spaces and flowers. Everyday. I can see the mountains. And I get sun. I'll never take it for granted again! Get outside everyday if you can. Thanks for sharing this. Mike
Cloudia - It's amazing the things you run across by accident on the internet.
I've been an avid Tree Hugger all my Life and now it makes perfect sense why what I called their Chi has been identified as being beneficial to us.
wow. I've been inhaling a lot of paint fumes of late. Must get my ass to the woods!
Dawn - I don't know why this doesn't get talked about more.
Peg - You have some woods around you but are they accessible?
