Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you.

Hiking amongst the trees wherever I travel is my favorite pastime. I live amongst some beautiful woods here on Lake Monroe. This week's posts have given me hope that warm weather may eventually arrive to the Midwest. Thanks.

If this topic goes on much longer, I'll be forced to see a xylem someplace.

I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

That tree that looks like the bark is made of a 1,000 writhing little figures is pretty awesome (picture 13). And of course, I love aspens (picture 5).

Sue - More to come.

Simmons - I'm hoping for more warm weather than hot weather.

Bill - Seek 😁 ... And I'd heard of xylem but couldn't remember what it was. The Google knew.

Deb - Me too. It's right on point.

Kathy - I would pick one for you but I can't pick either! 😄

Lady - 13 brought a dead tree back to life.
