5463 - Update

It's late.

Well, Claudia is back to semi-normal. Her neck pain is about 80% gone. So we're back to working on her Parkinson's problems. Which means we're not doing too much right now. Taking a few pain pills here and there. Heat packs on her neck. Migraine pills. Etc etc.

Last night (this morning) we rewatched a movie called The Hurt Locker. It's one of those films we can rewatch if we haven't seen it in a while. Another one like that for me is The Fifth Element. I don't know how many times I've seen that. I should buy the four stones as collector's items.

My tax guy is bugging me. I told him it's not even close to April yet!

I am thrilled that Claudia is feeling much better.
On the tax front? We have an appointment next week to see the accountant about last year's taxes...

Cloudia - I'd send mine to you but I haven't organized anything yet.

Sue - Last year's taxes? Sounds like post material to me.

Our taxes are long done, filed, and the refund put into savings. Happily, I keep detailed records and we have a great tax lady who keeps us out of jail. I've got enough things to worry about without panicking in early April over whether I'm doing my part to ensure that big businesses and the wealthy don't have to pay too much in taxes.

Both my wife and I have had good results from acupuncture. We had a very competent source. I do hope Claudia continue to improve.

Sending Claudia best wishes.

My taxes were done 3 weeks ago and I got a $71 return!!!!

I bought a quarter of a tank of gas with it.

Glad to hear that Claudia's neck pain is almost gone. I've seen "The Hurt Locker" but only once. It's a good movie. I just took my taxes in to my accountant yesterday. Here in Canada, we have until April 30th to file.

Glad to hear about Claudia.

I have very little involvement with tax filing, other than signing the return. Ours were done weeks ago and sent off. I believe the tiny refund we got was applied to the estimated taxes we have to file now that Hubby is retired.

Glad to hear Claudia is on the mend.

I just received in my mail an invitation to partake in a Parkinson's trial. One of the facts needed to be in the Wake Medical Trial is to have Parkinsons. Do they know something I don't know? Or did they look at my medical history and said, "hey that's next?"
I hope Claudia is feeling better and is getting some relief from her neck pain. Seems to be going around.

Best wishes to Claudia and hope she continues to improve. Good luck with the taxes. I am still dreading that email we are going to get from our accountant.

I work in an accounting office so you can probably guess what I muttered under my breath about your tax joke - lol

Glad your wife is recovering, albeit not 100% yet.

Glad Claudia has improved that much. Semi-normal feels even better, after having been so much worse. Now to chop and whittle away at the other 20%. Best wishes to you both.

Just got our taxes done today. We'll happily take the refund. There are lots of good movies worth watching again. My personal favorite is The Princess Bride. It's a fun fast moving adventure tale. Very quotable!

Good to hear there's improvement.

Wonderful that Claudia's neck pain is almost gone. I don't remember if I've seen "The Hurt Locker". I'll have to watch a trailer of it and see. We finished our taxes. We were supposed to get a refund, so my husband rushed to get it done!

Everyone - Thanks for the good wishes for Claudia. Things have been busy for me. I think I got to a few blogs today but I wouldn't swear to it. I'm trying not to take a break from blogging but I may have to. Maybe I'll do all trees next week or something like that.

I'm trying to help in the upcoming election in a way I'll have to explain later.

Just did our Taxes today, we owed again to the Feds, how is it that Billionaires don't pay anything and yet Seniors on a Fixed Income with Two Grandkid Dependents that we're supporting, owe? One of those Mysteries of Life. The State was good to us tho', enough refund to cover Tax Prep Fee and pay the Feds, so color me relieved. The Military for the 3rd Year in a row didn't get our 1099R to us until we asked them to reissue it and update them yet again about address changes made in 2020. It's not that they don't have our new address, they do, they just insist on sending the document to the old address every freakin' year! Well, it's the Govt., what can I say? *LOL* Healing Energies being sent to you for Claudia... it's always some medical issue in this household too.

I'm glad to hear Claudia is much better and hope for continued improvement. I don't think I have seen The Hurt Locker.
