Solitude is a gift to be treasured.
I like these, many of them describe me.
14 nailed it for me.
#21 - Yoko Ono. My eldest daughter and I went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and they had a John Lennon display. Sitting along a wall was a phone on a desk with a sign that said "If this phone rings, pick it up and talk to Yoko." After about 10 minutes of standing nearby, it rang. I smiled at Megan, picked it up and said, "I'm sorry, you have reached a number that is no longer in service, please hang up and dial again." I was introverting.
These really resonate with me! This introvert enjoys those moments of solitude!
Franz Kafka. One of my heroes.
These are all wonderful.
Great list of quotations! As an introvert, I know each one is true.
I think what determines whether a person likes being alone is the type of silent chatter in their heads. I've been working on improving mine.
Great list to start the weekend with.
Thank you Mike. These really spoke to me. I intend to do a lot of stealing here. Thanks pal
River - "treasured" Yes it is.
Sue - Absolutely.
Simmons - I like it. A lot.
Martha - As many moments as you can get.
Bill - I was wondering if you would make it to the end to see his quote.
Shaw - I totally agree.
Deb - True x 55.
Mark - That's another post. There are people that don't have a constant internal dialog going. Like me.
Kathy - Take the path less traveled. You're less likely to run into anyone.
Cloudia - Should I report you to the person I stole them from?
