5618 - Allen's fault

Allen had to ask a question about the tree house yesterday. So I did a search and found a few more tree houses.

Did you make it this far? I did a count and all 33 of these downloaded. (update - I numbered them) There's something special about all of them. They're all rentals. That right. You can rent any of these. Here's the link to find out about your favorite. https://www.housebeautiful.com/design-inspiration/house-tours/g3301/amazing-tree-house-homes/

Thank you and Allen. Most of those treehouses are considerably posher than our home. And undoubtedly worth more.

Is the 10th one Australian? it looks like something I saw in a magazine here, possibly in Victoria. I think the 4th or 5th one (the round one with straw roof)looks more like a cubby house, a place for the kids to have sleepovers. I like the 8th one among the palms and with a pool nearby and the 14th one too.

I can't imagine what my county government would set the tax value of these houses at, but I guarantee it wooden be affordable for real people.

These are pretty amazing!

I'd live in a tree house but only if it had an elevator. I don't do stairs.

This must be how all the cave families lived back in prehistoric times

Sue - I think it would depend on where they are located. If some of these were in the Ozarks in Missouri they would just be considered deer stands.

River - The 14th one was what Allen was asking about yesterday and got all this started. Copy, save, copy, save...

Bill - Speaking of wooden be affordable, 4x8 sheets of 20 dollar 3/4 plywood can be as high as 80 to 90 dollars these days.

Martha - Remember the mirrored cabin I posted? Maybe 13 is where they got the idea.

Deb - I'm sure we could rig up a platform pulley system for you.

Mark - There's one in Missouri when you come back to visit.

These are spectacular!

I guess I could say I lived in a sort of "tree house," since it was made of wood.

I now live in a "clay house," since it's made of bricks.

Have you ever watched the Treehouse Masters show on Animal Planet? Every episode they're putting something spectacular together.

Those are some pretty swanky tree houses. I wish I would have known about the one in Glacier when we visited.

Shaw - So now you're safe from the big bad wolf.

Kathy - I just went looking to see if Animal Planet was on any of the streaming services I have access to. So no I haven't seen it and I don't know if I have access. I'll have to dig deeper.

Matt - I found out they are everywhere!

Allen's fault? You're most welcome!

Treeehouse Masters is based out of Washington state. They have a whole compound of them for rent. We looked into staying at one but they were too expensive for us. They did a couple of international shows too. They build a wide variety and all are interesting, though I wouldn't want most of them. Well worth finding the show. My big lottery win dream is to have several treehouses around the country so I could travel from one to another by season or whatever I desired.

Allen - I keep expecting one to just show up in a tree in my yard. They're everywhere!
