Wow.
I have been in a house struck by lightening twice now. I am a little wary of electrical storms - despite appreciating (after the event) their beauty.
Great shots. I've managed to catch a bolt but the shot wasn't all that great.
Sue - Yep, we lost a TV and... I can't remember what else. It's been too long ago. OH, and another time a surge protector got zapped on the telephone line input. I got a new surge protector for free.
River - I imagine a lot of waiting time is involved in getting pictures like this.
We had a big thunder and lightning storm here last week. Pretty spectacular!
These are spectacular. I love lightning storms...as long as I'm not zapped. HAHA
Who is silly enough to swing a golf club in a lightning storm? He is lucky he was not vaporized.
Watching a thunderstorm roll in was one the greatest perks of being a tower air traffic controller. There were some incredible light shows!
Wow! Scary and beautiful!
Lektrick? Go fly a kite!
Years ago my brother-in-law was close enough to a lightening bolt that the hair on his arms stood on end. For Christmas I gave him a baseball cap with a poster board bolt cut in half and taped to each side. He thought it was funny.
Deb - I have to resist the urge to go outside and watch. Sometimes I do anyway.
Martha - Same here.
Lady - He's at a driving range and probably thinks the cover over his head will protect him. It won't.
John - You could have had a whole blog full of storm videos.
Shaw - Totally agree.
Stu - I did a search. You would not believe how many different ways Lectrick is used.
Kathy - Are you sure he wasn't just at Magic House. 😄
These are amazing! Thanks!
I remember, as a little kid, big storms at a lake house, right on the waters edge. The main room was rectangular with huge windows on both long sides and one end. We thought it scary and fun but the dog didn't...
Allen - Had one dog that was scared to death. Another dog that couldn't care less.
Shocking!
