Happy Labor Day to those who are off work today. For all the retires, happy Saturday/Monday.
Speaking of doggies. We had to say goodbye to Stella on Friday. We had 13+ good years with her. She was my son's dog but he lives with us so she was the family dog too. For bigger dogs, 13 years is a good run but it's more than always sad when they go to doggie heaven.
RIP Stella

Aways saddening to make that decision to put a family dog down. My commiserations.
I am so sorry to hear about Stella. It is the right decision and hurts like hell.
She was certainly beautiful and 82 is a good age for dogs to reach.
It's hard to lose a pet. My sympathies.
I came over from Cloudia's blog. So sorry to hear about Stella, it's so sad to love a wonderful family pet.
Very sad about Stella. It's hard when beloved pets cross the Rainbow Bridge, as they say.
Stella was certainly a beautiful dog. My sympathies.
So sorry to hear about your dog. 13 years is a good run but always hard to lose them.
I'm so sorry for your loss. No matter how old they are or how prepared we think we are, it still hurts. She was a beautiful girl.
Thanks to everyone for your sympathies.
My heart goes out to you and your entire family. One of the toughest days life hosts for us is where we have to say goodbye to. These friends were so special. They go to us and we must care for them to the end even when it hurts like hell. I'm sending you a lot of Aloha. Mike
Sorry for your loss, Mike.
Again, thanks to everyone for your sympathies.
Sorry for your loss. They say person's pets greet them first when they cross over to the other side. I like that idea.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's always difficult losing a beloved pet. Their lives are much too short!
I'm sorry to hear about Stella
Adam - I had to bail you out of spam jail. First time in over a week I've had to do that.
Sorry to hear about poor Stella. It brought back sad memories of when we had to put down our dogs Wooly (a terrier) and Nessa (a chocolate lab). People without dogs never understand how much you can love them.
Bill - It's heartbreaking.
