There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Amazing. And the aereal tree blows me away.
Massive tree in the middle of the road. What could go wrong?
Sue - There are several trees that seem to be in precarious locations in this bunch.
Cloudia - There should be some guardrails around it.
#13 looks like I feel most mornings.
Bill - I know exactly what you mean.
Tree huggers forever!
Another round of gorgeous tree shots!
I long for the 1st one because it means spring. :-) Gorgeous tree choices!!
Will you be doing a holiday version of trees next week?
Glad you included what looks like Colorado in the 6th pictures. Our Aspens deserve to be recognized for the beautiful trees they are.
2, 3, 12 and 20 are speaking to me this week. I think I am really missing blue skies.
Deb - Are you shouting out?!
Martha - Thanks!
Peg - But winter hasn't even officially begun. I wish I could take credit for the choices but it is the randomness of the internet that does the picking.
Kathy - That would require forethought and planning. There's not a lot of that around here these days. Your suggestion could count as the forethought part. But planning? A whole week ahead? I don't know......
Lady - Here's to Aspens... "Aspen wood is white and soft, but fairly strong, and has low flammability. It has a number of uses, notably for making matches and paper where its low flammability makes it safer to use than most other woods. Shredded aspen wood is used for packing and stuffing, sometimes called excelsior (wood wool). Aspen flakes are the most common species of wood used to make oriented strand boards.[5] It is also a popular animal bedding, since it lacks the phenols associated with pine and juniper, which are thought to cause respiratory system ailments in some animals. Heat-treated aspen is a popular material for the interiors of saunas. While standing trees sometimes tend to rot from the heart outward, the dry timber weathers very well, becoming silvery-grey and resistant to rotting and warping, and has traditionally been used for rural construction in the northwestern regions of Russia (especially for roofing, in the form of thin slats).
Matt - Cloudy skies mean a little more warmth this time of year. Clear skies? Coooold.
I love #2, but I want to climb #12 and sit up there looking out over that valley. Ditto #20, but looking over the ocean.
River - I agree on all tree... three!
Fabulous and just what I need, more wonderful trees! o many great ones but #20 is calling to me. Thanks!
Allen - As long as it's a nice calm day.
