Has anyone else started getting these magazines? They are conservative magazines that just started showing up in the mail. Then I got a bill for them. I called the Examiner and said I didn't order your magazine, take me off your mailing list. Then the National Review started showing up. I haven't called them yet. I may see how long they keep sending it to me before they give up.

What a scam! Usually you have to pay in advance to get a subscription.
Donald Trump must have your address.
Kirk - Scam for sure. Send out the magazine then send a bill. I wonder how many suckers just pay the bill. Oh wait, tRUMPers. Maybe a lot of them.
"Do the Right Thing" is an odd headline for an article in a conservative publication.
Any unsolicited mail goes right into my recycle bin.
The joy of living in Canada is that I don't get crap like this in the mail.
I am waiting until they distribute free p0rn. THEN I will take matters into my own hand ;-)
Bill - Truth.
Kathy - But you shred anything with your name and address on it, right?
Deb - I could send you some. 😀
Stu - HA! 👍
Re shredding-it depends on what it is. Anything remotely financial, medical, or insurance gets shredded to bits. I don't bother with generic junk, because there are too many public record entities that already have the paired data.
We don't get unsolicited magazines here, just your regular junk mail, leaflets etc. Even those don't make it to my mailbox now I have a "no junk mail" sticker on it.
Yikes! What a load of crap!
River - A no junk mail sticker... hmmm.
Lady - Especially the bills.
My understanding is that many magazines boost their subscription numbers by just sending them out to mailing lists they buy. If they get paid, that's great, but it's just to make the stats look better.
Allen - Well I got the bills not long after I got the first one of each. And there was no "if you want to keep this coming" notice. It was just send us money.
