I checked and didn't see any girdled trees in this bunch.
Introvert Gratitude

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

I love all the ones with water and #7. Also #12 is impressive, that staircase made from a single piece of wood!
Oh my.
I do hope that didn't cut down a forest giant to make that spectacular staircase. Using a fallen tree is well and good, but...
River - Most sites I checked restate that it's not a single piece of wood but a single tree. A little picky but it seems to make a difference to the people that seem to know what they are talking about.
Sue - I double-checked and couldn't find anything about the tree itself.
I love wandering through the weird forest of your mind. Mike, Aloha!
Cloudia - Watch out for the low-hanging branches.
I suppose that #12 is, technically, still a tree, but I see it more as a simple masterpiece of carving.
#4 Now that's a tree house!
#5 and #6 called to me this morning.
I'm pretty sure that trees in nature don't get girdled.
My favorite post of the week. Thanks.
#9 is my winner this week.
Bill - I wonder how long that took to carve.
John - You could do that at your house!
Deb - Out in the woods away from people?
Kathy - You're right. I think that's why self-starters have a better chance of making it.
Shaw - I'll meet you at #20.
#7 deserves a shout out, as do #11, 13, 16, and 17 but #9 wins this week or me.
Thursday Trees are good for the soul; thanks!
Allen - If you go visit it, watch your step.
