I knew that about the bananas. I like #1, I can see myself sitting on that wall watching the sun go down. Love #3 too, I have a similar picture stuck up on my bedroom wall, it's been there for years and I used to stare at the steps and imagine myself climbing up to Dreamland. #6 is just plain wonderful, imagine lying on one of those wide branches and daydreaming away a few hours.

Bill - I don't know... Looks kind of spooky.
Mike you have saved my tree from girdling with the fine information you post on your blog. I planted a little crab apple a year ago and unfortunately it had settled and sunk so that the trunk was the lowest point. Luckily it is on a slope so yesterday I dug around it on 3 sides help with drainage. Hoping it no longer feels the need to strangle itself by growing roots around its base.
#1 makes me feel very peaceful.
