This is a PBS video in the Ancient Earth Series called Life Rising. It's about how plants came into being and turned into trees.
Just Another Saturday

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

I hit the wrong post date. So I'm three hours early.
Those are rather apocalyptic-looking trees in number 12.
At first I thought - Thursday Trees! It's still Wednesday.
Then I realized it's 11:30, but I'm in CO so it is Thursday in MO.
Then I saw it was posted 3 hours ago and was confused again
Then I looked at the post. Great trees again!
So beautiful. Definitely Thursday here. Late afternoon.
Thank you for these stunners.
Kirk - Imagine seeing those in person for the first time.
John - It was an Oh crap moment when I saw the post date. Blogger won't let you move the date forward.
Sue - At least I got the right day for you.
#6 looks like the famous Gandalf tree shouting "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!)
Picture 12, the "tree" on the right looks suspiciously like a man kneeling over something. I guess the snow flurry caught him off guard.
Blogger will let you move the date, just revert the post to draft and and select the time and date you want. then click on publish.
#15 is a beautiful shot!
Bill - It looks like it has a couple of eyes too. No wait, those are at arm level. IT'S A GIRL TREE!
River - I need to find more of these spooky pictures.
Deb - One of those right place right time pictures.
Another fabulous Tree Thursday!
If you hadn't mentioned the day/date faux pas I wouldn't have noticed.
River - (I found you in spam jail) I thought I had tried that before and it wanted me to delete the post altogether. It sounds like it's been fixed. Now if I can just remember that for the next time.
Shaw - Thanks!
Kathy - It was the word "published" that got my attention.
Hee hee love the cartoon.
Lady - You won't see it at a nude beach!
