I just spent an hour watching radon remediation videos. Here's the main link to the six videos.
Do you have a radon problem in your house? If you haven't tested, you don't know. I think I've mentioned my testing system before.
This not only tracks radon but five other environmental variables. But they have a lot of choices.
It's not just basements that have a radon problem. Sometimes my first floor has a higher level for a while. I should do something about it. Project number 581.

Luckily radon levels in homes are generally very low in Australia. I don't need anything more to worry about.
I always thought Radon was either the flying monster that Godzilla fought in Japan, or the guy who made the famous statue of The Thinker. I learn something new every day.
Radon is a heavy gas which is why it usually collects in cellars + crypts.
Radon is an issue on the Canadian prairies too, particularly the province of Saskatchewan.
Sue - I still wouldn't hurt to do one test.
Bill - It's a monster for sure.
Stu - 7.5X heavier than air.
Deb - The guy who did the videos is in Canada.
We had to have a test done when we sold our house in 2019. No issues.
Now we live on the second floor of a building. I'm not concerned.
Well, I live in an apartment building. Hopefully my landlord keeps track of it.
I don't even know what Radon is and we don't have basements and cellars here so I'm not worried.
