It's a story about a tree...
Time for the Christmas memes so as not to mess up the weekend jokes.
Now this looks like a project for next year.
Except when they get to my house.
Truth...
Think about it...
This is the new version of a penny under a blown fuse.
Think about it...
Christmas bonus...
I'll bet Grandma didn't leave an opening.

The second to last is so very true. Sigh.
The Christmas Card chart is spot on. My biggest problems are (1) accidentally sending my brother's Christmas card to his ex's house every year (they live just down the street from each other); and (2) the card that comes back as nondeliverable every year although the address is 100% accurate.
Spectacular pecan Christmas tree! Thanks!
What a spectacularly beautiful tree! But if it's been going for 16+ years now, it must be restrung every year. If you leave Christmas lights wrapped around a growing tree, they will hinder its growth and the tree will grown around the strangling lights so they can't be removed, eventually killing the tree.
Sue - True, sad, and maddening.
Bill - Thanks for not picking on me. ... I mailed something to a guy in our computer club but put the wrong street name on it. But I did have the correct 9 digit zip code and it got to him.
Shaw - Yep, and a good story.
I'm thinking that a lot of the people who put up elaborate Christmas decorations are more about the show and less about the religion.
Kathy - Absolutely.
Good ones Mike. Thank you very much
Cloudia - Thanks!
Hoe Hoe Hoe, very funny. I'd rather have that mountain of money than a pizza. Yes, I'm greedy, but I'd share it.
Love the pecan tree :)
River - I'm all for the mountain of money too!
Hey, I left a very detailed comment about that beautiful video and it's not here! Did Blogger eat it? Damn. I'm not going to type it all out again.
Deb - I found it. In spam jail. My fault for not checking sooner. 🙄 I found an article that said, "Every holiday season, from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, the tree is wrapped in 60,000 white lights, their cool tint sometimes making them seem almost blue."
