Here's a short FYI about blogger maintenance. Most bloggers have the "followers" gadget on their sidebar. How do you get yourself off if the delete button is missing or the blog is no longer there? Here's how...
Now I need to figure out how to delete people following me who no longer have blogs.

I did know how to stop following people using the manage blogs function.
I don't know how to delete people following though. I think they have to do it - which is a challenge if they are dead or no longer blog. You can block them but not, I think, delete them.

I see a few silhouettes among my followers. Whether they have abandoned their blogs or just abandoned me, I can't say, but seeing as I have the word "shadow" in my blog's title anyway, I'll them stay.
How bout changing the name but keeping the entire blog intact? Thank you Mr.Blogger

Kirk - You have an icon that shows up on comments, but on followers, you show up as a "K". Try unfollowing and then following again and see if your icon shows up.
Peg - I know you can save your whole blog but I don't know if you can recover it with a different blog name. HEY! Save your blog, set up a new blog name, and then see if you can recover your blog to the new name. Better yet. Create a new temp1 blog and put a couple of posts on it. Then save it. Create another temp2 blog, then see if you can recover temp1 to temp2.
