6113 - I'm outta here!!

"A viewer captured video of the Earth 'breathing' in Sacre-Coeur, Quebec - but what is actually happening here? Our meteorologist Erin Wenckstern has the analysis." (1 min)

Now turn the sound off and watch it without the distracting chatter. Would you hang around to take this video?

No. No way, no chance.

I'd worry about the tree falling on me.

Freaky. At first I'd be assuming it was a flashback

Sue - You and I would be racing to see who could get away the fastest.

Kirk - I'm surprised none snapped off in that video.

Cloudia - It does look like that.

Remember the old margarine commercial with the tag line, "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature?"

That looks so creepy!

Maybe if I knew about the reason behind the issue ahead of time I would be able to observe and not run for my life. Otherwise, no.

Mike said...

Bill - So Mother Nature seems pissed?

Deb - To say the least!

Kathy - So how long to decide if it's "explosive cyclogenesis" or an earthquake? And which way to run? 😄

I wouldn't hang about waiting for a tree to fall on me. You should not walk in the forest in high winds.

That is just insane. Did she say Quebec? Wow.

Happy New Year, Mike!

I am a TOTAL SCARDY CAT . . . SOOOO I would not be out there with the wind blowing like that in the first place. SO, I would miss seeing the ground/earth "breathing" show!

Happy New Year, Mike!

I might have hung around, but waaay back and used my zoom lens. It would be something to show the grandkids if I did that.

Mike said...

Lady - I agree!

Robyn - Yep. Those crazy Canadians.

DG - HNY to you too!

River - What we don't know is what was going on behind the person taking the video.

I cannot imagine seeing this in person. What a force that is. I would also keep distance from this event.

Susan - I would be hightailing it out of there as fast as I could.
