So, the comedian didn't go over very well. How about a Chinese highway in the sky?

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

It makes our H-3 look puny by comparison!
By the people who brought you the great wall!
Wouldn't want to go over the edge on that one.
Wow!
Amazing engineering feat!
Cloudia - I don't know of any in the US that are that tall for that long.
Deb - You would have a long time to think about your demise.
John - Yes.
Shaw - Chinese engineering. I hope it doesn't collapse.
COULD they have made that highway lower to the ground? Is it just a case of show-offy engineering? Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that, but I can see where such a drive might give you nosebleeds.
Kirk - It would definitely be a test for people with a fear of heights.
I couldn't tell from the video, but the road looked perfectly flat everywhere. They must have raised it up enough to account for the mountains?
Quite an amazing feat of engineering!
Here in Adelaide "we" can't build even twenty metres of on-the-ground freeway without something going wrong and needing to be repaired! Before it is even opened for use!
I think the government tries to save money by choosing the lowest bid for the job and then the construction company tries to save money by cutting corners.
Kathy - They must have.
River - Ah the lowest bidder. Not the best lowest, just the lowest.
They're just trying to show off their building skills for a better positioning if they get a chance to bid on Der Furor's wall.
