Snowmageddon #2 is on its way. 2" to 12+" depending on the drift of the front. Supposed to start Tuesday night and snow all day Wednesday. That's after a brief shot of snow today.
I was at the store last night and looked at the price of eggs here. There were plenty in stock at different prices. A carton of 18 was $13.50 unless you were a rewards member and then it was $9.00. Our carton of eggs in our refrigerator is still half full after 6+ months. Eggs are too much work for me. Because then you have to make bacon and the cleanup isn't worth it.

We're waiting for Snowmageddon 2, too. Eggs here are plentiful, but the price is inching up. I need to get my daughter to beef up her chicken flock.
Make a quiche!
We've gone from 8-12" of snow predicted a few days ago to 4-6" currently predicted with bitter cold. We have food and I have no need to go out -- so I won't.
I'll mail you some of our extra eggs.
Make? I can buy egg pie at the store!
As fast as time flies, soon this winter weather will be gone and we'll be complaining about the heat.
I'm heading to the basement until next week!
Bacon and eggs are always worth it imho
you can't beat eggs..... oh, wait a minute..........
I went food shopping last night. Just checked the snow guess. 1-2" tomorrow. 3-5" Wednesday is the latest guess. But the temps are supposed to be -2 Tuesday night and 1 Wednesday night. Next week, in the 50s!
I'm not a fan of cooking. And then cleaning up. I wish they made paper frying pans.
I might save this for Saturday jokes.
You don't HAVE to make bacon, you could do omelettes, or scrambled eggs or pancakes or egg salad sandwiches or anything else that uses eggs and doesn't need bacon. Cake. Baked egg custard.
But you're still talking about... COOKING! 😫
If the price of eggs keeps going up, I'll build a "chicken coop" in the backyard and go "old-school" like my grandparents did.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it so much.
I don't have to go back to work until Thursday, though I will have to go out in the blizzard to get myself some hamburger patties. It's what I get for not planning ahead.
Watch out for those chicken hawks.
It's 2:30am on Tuesday now and the weather guessers keep moving the storm further South. We may get some snow or none at all.
