There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

#8 reminds me that I'm due for a back massage.
So many really cool ones this week!
The perspective on that first picture is interesting. I never thought to lie down to get a cool aspen shot.
Sorry to hear Sue is gone. I know many will miss her in the blogosphere. Thanks for passing on the news, Mike.
flicking through, as you do, i had to double take the chart of wood hardness..... i thought it said "the madness of wood"

That will be a lot of untwisting.
I agree.
I assumed that it's a real photo.
She was everywhere on Blogspot. A lot of connections will be lost because of her departure.
I do that all the time. Usually followed by , what? WAIT!
Deep in the woods.
#6, wow! I wonder what caused #4 to grow like that?
#14 and #16. About as close to Day-Glo as nature gets.
Magical, one and all. #17 looks like a tree portal - amazing!
