6653 - Long joke Sunday

A man and woman were married for many years.

Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night.

The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!

Neighbors feared him.

The old man liked the fact that he was feared.

Then one evening, he died when he was 88.

After the burial, her neighbors, concerned for her safety, asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?

The wife said, " Let him dig. I had him buried upside down ... and I know he won't ask for directions.

    1. He'll dig down until he meets the devil who'll send him right back up.

  3. Agnes wouldn't go to that much trouble. My sense of direction is so bad, I'd dig the wrong way, regardless.

  4. Thank God my dying husband is sweet and not threatening. I'm sorry. Was that too real? If so, I apologize to you. Mike, I am going through a time. My mom passed a few days ago and being with my husband and his dementia. Though he remains sweet is incredibly challenging all right now. I want to read those Saturday jokes! I could use a laugh. But I hasten to let you know and everyone else. I am doing okay thank God! I'm hanging in there

    1. Going through a time is an understatement. Hang in there. We'll be thinking about you. No need to apologize.
