I didn't watch all of that because I don't own a car and never will. I do think Ford has gone too far with this and people should stop buying Fords immediately and maybe returning the ones that have these features. Are other companies doing the same with their vehicles?

Well, hell ... I wouldn't have bought a Ford before this, anyhow, but this is bad. It's bad enough already, but this is Orwell-level stuff.
oh my God. Like Bilbo I would never have purchased a Ford. This didn't help.
Stuff like this is why I am going to keep my 2012 Honda for as long as I can.
I think we're going to need pre-1980, EMP proof cars and trucks anyway. I might need to start looking for a classic.
I would never buy a Ford anyway. But, some of the new features are getting very Big Brother-ish already.
My new Subaru has all kinds of creepy features.
I think Ford just happens to be the first to start implementing the new features.

One of my cars is a 2004 Honda civic hybrid. Still going strong. Not even 100K on it yet.

I have a 2019 Ascent. To many features to even think about. It ding dongs at me about every minute or so.
