I saw retired Missouri Senator John Danforth speak last night. He was pushing his new book "Faith and Politics". The main theme of the book is how the two major political parties have been ignoring the middle of the road undecided voter and focusing on their "core" constituents and thus dividing America into to polar opposite camps. The "us or them" mentality. My wife bought the book so we now have an autographed copy of it. Now all I have to do is read it.

Too stupid to even understand what he's saying.

It sounds like I agree with Senator Danforth. Let me know how the book is so I know whether to add it to the gotta-read pile.
I used to deliver the Wall Street Journal to Senator Danforth's office in the Old Post Office downtown St. Louis many years ago. Since I delivered it at 4 in the morning, he was never there!
I'd finish my two routes (USA Today and WSJ) about 6 am and then head to White Castle for lunch. I got a lot of looks from people getting coffee and a danish while I slammed a dozen cheeseburgers!
Sounds like an interesting read. Going to check out that second link now.
John, The White Castle just south of downtown? Every once in a while I would stop on the way work in the morning and get 20 to take to work to share for breakfast. You would be surprised at the number of people that will eat a belly bomber in the morning.
When you come to St. Louis, White Castles on me, Ted Drews on you.
Bilbo, that could take a while. My wife hasn't read it yet and THAT could take a while. So.....
Mistress, we will be expecting a book report soon!!! No pressure!
