I'm sure everyone knows about this kid but me. I was watching Oprah the other night (they rerun her here at 1:30am) and ran across Charice. She's a 16 year old Filipino with a singing voice that will blow you away. The funny part is if you listen to her talk and then hear her sing you would swear they were dubbing the sound track. She talks like a 16 year old Filipino and singing like a 35 year old American.
She was on Ellen DeGeneres first and then Oprah. The video of the Oprah show is longer and more info on her life. The link takes you to the video page of this soon to be millionaire singer.

Isn't there a good John Wayne movie on during those hours. How about a WW II movie in black and white, of course

Most of the time PBS has something on one of it's 4 DTV channels. But then there are the nights you have a choice of (1)cooking, (2)kids show, (3)cooking and (4)cooking. And considering I don't like to cook, watching someone else cook is way down on my list of things to do.
And I'm way being over John Wayne. And WWII movies? There aren't any on at that time of the morning. Not on free TV. And pay TV? I've seen it and can't believe people actually pay money to watch commercials.
That was almost like a whole post for me!
I love charice pempengco. Almost made want to stop singing! lol. Yeah, she has an amazing voice! Let's see what her future album will be like, there are rumors of her working with quincy/mottola/david foster. dont know which one is true, though.
