That's where everybody was yesterday. Blogging break. Very few new posts let alone comments. You would think everyone was stuck at the mall. But how can that be. We went to a local strip mall last night and just about had the whole place to ourselves. Some stores had closed early. Maybe the Baltic Dry Index is kicking in.
Some say this is the shortest day of the year. I say it depends on what hemisphere you're in. Or I also say all the days are the same length, 24 hours. Or 24 hours ± 30 seconds depending on how accurate you want to be. Or 86,400.002 seconds if you're calculating something.

I thought you had subcontracted the numbers thing out to Amanda. Of course, she's stuck in Cairns without an Internet connection, so I guess you're not really poaching on her territory. As for what everyone was doing yesterday, go back and read Katherine's comment posted to my blog yesterday. And where is that strip mall you talked about...I've been looking for a place to get a good ... uh ... never mind.
Having it to ourselves would've been nice. Kingstowne Blvd in Fairfax County was a madhouse yesterday. There's a Wal-Mart, a Toys-R-Us, and a Kohl's on one side, and a huge strip mall on the other side. It was crazy. I ended up turning down back streets to get home after sitting in traffic for 15 minutes on what's normally a pretty smooth-flowing road.
I was around, but having issues with my computer. :( I was also shopping which was pure evil!!
Some of us were at work I'll have you know!
Same again today.
THEY'RE ALIIIIVE!!!!!
B - I know where that mall is too. It's a lot more crowded.
G - People in Fairfax County must not have heard about the Baltic Dry Index collapse.
M - Keep working on us. One of these day we're going to chip in for a new computer for you.
F - You have to WHAT?
Mike, you read right!
