The code of what? The code of Hammurabi.

If you got through that, here's most of the code. If you try to live by this code, don't make any missteps or bad things will happen.

What would we do with all the lawyers if justice was still as simple as jumping in the river? Survive...you're innocent and your accuser is out to death. Drown...well, you're guilty and were going to be put to death anyway.

Fair or not, it would put an end to most frivolous law suits.

I thought, if you don't know how to swim, your guilty of something. Let's just throw everybody in the river and solve a lot of problems before they happen.
