1038 - Holiday

Hey, todays a holiday. At least for some people. Some people don't get today off. And then there's people like me. EVERY day's a holiday!! Or a Saturday, or whatever kind of day you want to call it.

So what to do on this special day. Same thing as yesterday. Get up, try and decide what to do. Sometimes it's tough. Sometimes I sit around all day and never come up with anything. I think those are the best days. ............... Sorry, drifted off there for a minute. Hey how about a joke. Just for fun. Well sort of a joke. I wonder if Amanda can verify most of these. Wake up Amanda. Come out of your 'newborn trance' for a little bit.

I'm really disappointed about one of the definitions. Reeeeeeeally.

Hey! I must have heard you because I did wake up from my trance today. I know what you mean about the holidays everyday. Its even more of a holiday when you get slack with the blogging like I have.

I'll stop bludging soon. Not sure but I think 'to bludge' can also go on your list of Australian words. It means to waste time or to get out of doing work.

I remember reading an interesting sentence in Aussie, and its translation into English, years ago: "Eye got a split nair dyke...smoreniken bear...I left a tiger nippy sea." Translation: I've got a splitting headache. It's more than I can bear. I'll have to take an APC (tablet)." And if you want ratbags, come to DC...we got 'em. Congress, DC city government, lobbyists, lawyers, you name it.
