I found a (several) page(s) that covers blog statistics and demographics.
The first section covers -
how many blogs - conflicting estimates of how many blogs have been created (I know about 9)
ephemerality - indications that most blogs are quickly abandoned and that few are regularly updated (that's just me trying to make my blog look more important)
audiences - how many people are reading them (important people)
demographics - who is writing them (IMPORTANT PEOPLE!)
so, so yesterday - has blogging peaked? (blogging or me?)
Snippets from the link -
- The 'average blog' thus has the lifespan of a fruitfly. (I'm better than a fruitfly!)
- in practice many blogs have no more than two dozen readers. (I gotta' get somemore readers)
- many people under 25 blogged once or twice before moving on to other social media (Let's face it. A URL is a URL no matter what contents are behind it or what it's called.)
So if you want to read all about you, here's the LINK.
If this actually does catch your interest you may want to bookmark the link. There's no way you're going to read all this stuff today.
And I actually found this by going to WORLDOMETERS. Which I was going to post about until I found a more interesting way to torture everyone.

Wow. I'm considerably above average. But, I already knew this. ;-)
Me, too, Jay. I liked this quote: "Teenagers have created the majority of blogs" - no wonder I feel young again. Except when I've spent two days shoveling a million tons of snow.
And I thought google analytics was confusing. ;)
J - All my readers are above average. All 9 of them.
B - I'm so jealous about not getting to play in the snow. So STOP talking about it. But post more pictures. They're really good for a laugh.
C - We'll be waiting for a report on the whole article.
I need to get out there more. Right now I think I only read 5 blogs and I probably only have about 5 readers! hahaha
I read the article about blogging peaking. Bah..just cos kids don't do it.
