Well Claudia made through the surgery. What does it take to repair a small fracture and a torn ligament in the leg just above the ankle? How about a metal plate and six screws. No more airplane rides for Claudia. I'm not going to wait through that security check. I think it would be easier to drive to Europe.
So here's my idea to fix health care. Everyone gets health care. You're put into a group of 10,000 people. Everyone kicks in 10 bucks a month. If someone needs healthcare, a notice goes out to all 10,000 people. Everyone looks at the problem and votes on whether or not the person gets fixed.
What do you think? How long would this system last? How long would it take enough people to die from no healthcare before there would be enough money to take care of the 10 or 20 people left?

Glad that Claudia came through the surgery okay. And don't worry about the airline security checks - just have her wear a head scarf and shout about discrimination against Muslims, and they'll wave her right through.
I did not know Claudia was having surgery.Tell her I said Hi and I hope she recuperates quick;y. On the bright side, you get to brush up on your domestic skills. Linda does laundry on Satuday and since every day is Saturday for you, there's a good place to start.
That's not that far off from our current health care system. Only right now, a low paid corporate bureaucrat with no medical expertise gets to decide whether or not you get treatment.
Glad the surgery went well. I had to get a plate and screws in my arm when I broke it back in the day. Was kinda cool actually. At least it was fun to tell people about my plate and screws. haha
I've missed so much here! Glad to hear that Claudia is ok.
They've got those super x-rays in the airport now right? I always imagined that it would speed things up since they can see everything. No need to take your shoes/belt/whatever off and no need for them to pat you all over.
Been busy today.
