Oh oh what? Well NOW what are you going to eat?
The Persistence Of Memory A Polish study showed plants send electrochemical signals in a way that can be likened to an animal nervous system. This image shows chemical reactions in leaves that were not exposed to light; they are reacting to a chemical signal from a leaf that was exposed.
So plants can remember. But do they have self awareness. I'm not sure but I think the last time I ate a salad I heard the lettuce scream.

I've also added 'My Blog List' on the left sidebar. That's one of those things that lets you see the last update of selected bloggers. I don't want to put pressure on people to stay out of last place but ............ wait ... yes I do!
And the Gulf oil leak is plugged! Future news item. ... 'The gulf sea floor exploded and sent a tsunami of oil and water into New Orleans. The good news is the oil is letting people float making rescue easier this time.'
And finally it's my daughter's 30th birthday. Her aunt (my sister) flocked her. I don't know if this is a tradition any place else but it happens often here in St. Louis. Here's what she found all over her lawn when she got home from work.

Hey! I like that flocking idea. Very cute! Happy 30th to your daughter!
Happy Birthday to your daughter and tell your sister it was just rude of her to give her the bird on her birthday. Cheers Mike!!

Actually, it was 24 birds. One can never have too many birds given to them. :)
If someone put flamingoes on your lawn yesterday, are they now flamingwents? Happy Birthday to your daughter, who should know that her dad has some very strange friends...

At least she was flocked and not goosed!
D - Goosing could be a new tradition. Butt I'm not going to start it.
