1275 - Who?

A friend (who can self identify himself if he wishes) sent me a video about David Barton. Who? How much time do you have? This first video I found countering the sent video is about 7 minutes and gives you a good feel (I feel good) about who he is.

If you want more info, here's the video I was sent with the following quote. (some of you may want to take extra blood pressure medicine)

Worth watching..............
I'll bet you never learned this in school!
Why the elitest want to remove the teaching of the eary American history.

Actually 'eary American history' is close to the truth. Is the 'elitest' like the SAT?

DAVID BARTON'S REVISED HISTORY OF THE US.

And here's an in depth analysis of David Barton and a some info about a book on him.

VIDEO - PART 1, PART 2, PART 3. About 20-25 minutes total.

History may or may not be told accurately. Nevertheless it does repeat itself. If you don't remember anything else from this post, just remember this guy's name: David Barton. And don't forget there was a time a decade ago when few people knew who Karl Rove was. Karl saw the merit in being incognito. That's how he masterminded all the crap that happened between the end of Clinton's presidency and the beginning of Obama's. So let's expose Barton before he gets any farther along and he starts making Karl look good.

Until I saw this video, I had never heard of Barton. The portraits, having worship services in the capitol, the govt. Bible etc., are all interesting. To take these things and interpret them into some sort of message from our forefathers is a real stretch. With so much information out there and people trying to get you persuaded to their point of view, I have to take it all with a grain of salt....and so much is done using God. I know one thing for sure; you mix a little truth with a little lie and it becomes all lie.

Claudia, Rove chastized the voters of Delaware the other night for not electing Castle as the GOP candidate. He said they are throwing the senate seat to the Dems. Over the top!

I forgot this. Having worship services in the capitol makes perfect sense to me. It is a large space and can hold a large group of people. There were probably not that many accomodating spaces in D.C. at that time. We have schools in our area that rent their cafeterias on Sundays for people to hold worship services because they need a space. If someone claimed the principal was promoting that religion in his school, that person would be called a kook.

C - If he's a fox head like MD says this explains everything.

MD - Luckily I don't get Fox news. I think all my TV's would be smashed in if I did.

B - I think the grain of salt applies to every politician, which is what Barton is.

B2 - You forgot because you're old.
