Heard over the loud speaker at the grocery store last night.
"Will all customers check the cart your pushing and make sure it's your's."
After about two minutes.
"Will the customer that lost their cart please come to the customer service counter."

I had someone wander off with my cart once in Walmart. It was kinda funny. Well after I screamed and yelled at them for being a dumb ass. Sometimes I think about that Christmas Eve and feel bad about yelling at that little old lady like that. But, what's done is done, I guess.

A friend just shared that one day she and her husband observed a little old man repeatedly exchanging things in and out of his cart with them. He must have been a George Carlin fan. Carlin believed it's perfectly legal to shop out of someone else's cart 'cuz you don't own anything in the grocery store til after you check out. Makes total sense.
