I've thought about this scenario before but this is the first I've ever heard of it. This video is from 2009. I haven't heard of any rules changes concerning this situation.

I've heard of this kid. I saw something about him on TV or else the LoHud Blog (yankees and minor league NYY) I think it's cool.
I sure get why the need for the rule but there is a part of me that says, no rule, just mess wiht the batters. I mean it's a game right? Do what needs to be done to throw off the batters. Of course ask me when they are messing with jeter or Granderson and I may think differently :-)
Just get up there on the mound and pitch. If you can't get him out that's too bad. He's 26 and still pitching AA ball, so apparently he can't get big leaguers out.
