Jay posted a football theme post yesterday and had a video with Andy Griffith singing in it. That reminded me of another Andy Griffith comedy bit about football. I hadn't heard it in a long time. I wondered if it was on youtube.... DUUHHHH.

This is a true comedy classic, ranking up there with Abbot and Costello's "Who's on First?" and Spike Jones' announcing of the Kentucky Derby and the Indy 500. Another clever, but almost unknown Andy Griffith bit is "The Round Pool Table." Great stuff. Thanks!
I don't know anybody who doesn't love Andy Griffith. He's America's grandpa.

Andy Griffith has a beautiful voice. He reminds me of my dad..in fact they look a lot alike and always have. Including sharing some initials!
B - Couldn't find the other bit. The closest I came was one hit on Google from a guy named Andy Griffith on MySpace - Andy Griffith ... Check out these ladies on the ROUND pool table.

MD - I checked and Andy is 85 so they're almost the same age too.
