Well yesterdays surfing got me today's post too. Looking at YouTube an interesting title caught my eye. How to spot a liar. Of course I already know all this information since I'm one of the smartest people on the plant. I don't like to brag about that so I try and keep a low profile. It's my natural introversion.
But in case you ever need these skills I found someone that did a TED talk on it. I would have done this myself but I didn't think it was worth my time. I had more important things to do like blogging, etc.
And THEN, as if this wasn't enough information for your brain to absorb, and you want to spend an hour and a half more glued to the screen learning ALL about body language, here's another video from the History Channel. Even I haven't watched this one yet. But I will. Trust me.

It's easy to tell when a politician is lying. His (or her) lips are moving.
I find this so interesting---how our body betrays us.
Bilbo - You can't make everyone happy unless you lie to half of them.
Lizbeth - I read about this stuff then immediately forget to use it in real life.
PolitiFact.com does a good, objective, nonpartisan job of checking our politicians' allegations.
I resent the alligator.
I think we have a trained lie spotter in our family. BUT, I can't know for sure because if they're that good at spotting a lie, they would be better than average at telling one too...right? Anyway, it occasionally makes me wonder (and feel uncomfortable) if they're reading me or not.
Anyway, interesting topic!
Duck - Yep, get the link to Politifact on my sidebar. And I can understand why ducks don't like gators.
Amanda - Yeah, when you're getting trained, you're getting trained both ways.
