I don't think this was actually a trivia question but was mentioned at trivia night. What was? That the Starship song "We Built This City" was voted the worst song ever. WHAT! I like this song. Who the hell was doing the voting? (insert name of someone you dislike here)?
So here's the song so you can listen to it over and over.
Now on to my discoveries about Grace Slick. That's right. Looking up this song lead to some surfing discoveries. Did you know that Grace Slick started with a group that included her brothers called 'The Great Society'? That her brother wrote the song "Somebody to Love"?
After The Great Society she went onto Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and then Starship. Look at the links to see how the band members changed from year to year. There is going to be a test on band members on Friday. I will have to be the MC since I can't remember any kind of stuff like this.
Which reminds me. Last Tuesday at trivia night they asked a nerd question (which I usually know) and I missed it. 'What is the lightest metal'? I would have sworn that it was sodium. But nooooooo. It's been to long since I've looked at and studied the periodic table. I was one line on the table to high. Think I'm going to tell you? Noooooooo.

Grace Slice while with Jefferson Airplane also did a song White Rabbit," combining Alice in Wonderland with psychotropic drugs.
"We Built This City" sucks as bad as "Break My Stride" and "Boom Boom Boom Voom."
Ah Grace Slick. Loved her. Met her and she was a ballsy broad. And I loved her music/or Jefferson Airplane and some STarship. While I didn't care for Built this city....I don't think it's worse than tip toe through the tuplips for heaven's sake!
Since I blacked out the periodic table after high school chemistry class I have no idea about the lightest metal and you know what? I don't care. I'm lazy like that.
Angel - "We Built This City" does NOT suck. It's great. You're just... just... Evil!
Peg - Grace vs Tim? My guess is Tim sucks better.
I love We Built this City
I can think of so many songs that are just horrid, that's not one of them
Grace Slick is so cool
For a truly suckalicious song, try "The Pina Colada Song."
Dianne - The reasons why some people like a song or not are as varied as the personalities of the people.
Duck - I can hear that song now playing in my head!!
