But on to genetics for the nerdy of you that are still here. I found an interesting article about our 46 chromosomes. It seems we used to have 48 chromosomes. Our ape relatives still do have 48.
But somewhere along the line we dropped to 46. So you say 'If that's true, why haven't we kept on going down to 44? HUH?! WHY?!
