Shooting a ping pong ball right through a paddle at mach 1.2? Yes indeed. OK this is almost 8 minutes long. So if you want to cut right to the good stuff, go to the 5:50 mark. Otherwise get ready for a physics lesson on a vacuum and compressed air working together.

Very interesting science behind it, even if it is difficult.
I don't know WHY they shot a ping-pong ball through a paddle, but I'm glad they did.
