What kind of beer? Open beer, the best kind! So how do you get the beer open? It depends on where you live. I think I may be moving to Australia. But then I'm a guy.

I think I'll drink the water in Australia.
Nice illustration: two bottles of beer and five bottles of other stuff in between.
At least we'll be neighbors, because I'm going to New Zealand.
Beautifully said, Angel! "...two bottles of beer and five bottles of other stuff in between."
Btw, Mike, if you haven't tried the food or the beer at the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood, you should! Both are excellent.
Angel - See my response to John about the end bottles.
Claudia - It's a long swim through sharks to see each other though.
John - This response could be a whole post by itself. I've been to SB many times. The food is good, the beer is bitter.
I had a Guinness draft recently. Claudia said 'you're not going to like it'. Boy was she right. Nasty stuff. So nasty I almost spit it out it was so bitter.
I keep referring people to the wikipedia definition of supertasters. Most beers and coffee are just nasty stuff to me. The light beers are tolerable.
Mike, you might like their golden ale or sessions ipa. The golden is a light, rich ale that tastes similar to a full bodied lager. The sessions uses hops that give more of a citrus flavor.
John - Hops are what give beer it's bitter taste. More hops, more bitter. IPA's are hoppy. I get told by friends all the time, this is an IPA, you wouldn't like it.
You have no idea how little bitter it takes for me to notice.
