A Balkan Experience Without Leaving My City

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

A great comparison, Mike! The flu is not to be trifled with. I get my flu shots every year and do extensive hand-washing.
The CDC has rated any states as "severe" with regard to cases of the flu. Flu shots each year usually helps, if they correctly anticipate what strain might emerge in the coming year.
Whew! none of those this year!
Guess my flu shots are working...but it's still early.
I don't do purell or any of that nonsense. I'm from the school of eat well and give yourself some germs so you can fight them off. All my friends who are purelling themselves all get sick.
I think there have been 23 flu related deaths in Arkansas. I still haven't gotten a flu shot though. I like to live recklessly.
