There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Gross as it might be, I generally check the color of my snot whenever I blow my nose.
I'll keep those colors in mind as what is going on nasally.

And if it's clear and you aren't feeling well it's normally allergies. So when you think it's a cold and it's clear - it may just be hayfever or allergies. :-)
(My doctor taught me that one. )
Linda Kay - It's not rocket science, it's snocket science.
As gross as the topic is, this was very informative. Thanks, Mike!
I wonder about snotty people: what color is theirs.
