It seems the general public and scientists don't see things the same way most of the time. Here's a chart from an ARTICLE that shows the spread between different subjects. Since I have an engineering brain I'm with the scientists on pretty much everything.

Those charts carry a load of information. Basically, most people are uninformed or misinformed about science.
You and my hubby (an engineer) are two peas in a pod...he is always telling me something factual.
