The article is interesting. Second (2nd) Street comes in in second place, but First (1st) Street comes in fourth. Third (3rd) Street is in fifth, and Fourth (4th) Street is eighth. This is a system that must have been devised by the folks who brought you things like the gerrymander.
I looked at states where I've lived but never resided on any most named streets. It's odd that Florida's list is all numbered streets. This shows quite a lack of imagination to me. Bureaucrats must have been the decision makers...

To me it defies understanding that so many states have numbers as the most popular street name. Many of the others use trees, which are more interesting.
