3220 - US Navy Honor Gaurd

This is making the rounds right now on the Internet. I found the original Youtube video and it's from 2007.

The US Navy Honor Guard was competing in Norway. They took first place.

That was a superb performance. I was a member of the Air Force ROTC trick drill team (Eagle Flight) at Penn State from 1969-1973, and we did many of the same maneuvers. Precision like this is impressive, and regardless of how much you practice, this is a dangerous sport ... at a competition one time, one of our members tried to catch a misthrown rifle he should have let drop, and ended up with a bayonet through his hand. Not a good day.

Wonderful performance. So many things could go wrong, as Bilbo pointed out. I can't imagine the number of practice hours that go into this. Have a special weekend, Mike!
