3240 - Boom
From Youtube...
"Controlled Demolition, Inc. of Phoenix, Maryland, USA, captures a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the "Tallest Building To Be Demolished Using Explosives" in their performance of the successful explosives felling of the 28-story, 439 foot tall, 2.2 million square foot, structural steel J.L. Hudson's Department Store in Detroit, Michigan at 5:47 PM on Saturday, October 24, 1998."
Of course there's video. BUT, it's unshareable by request on Youtube so you probably haven't seen it. So go to the LINK and see 5 different angles of this building blowing up. What better way to help pass a Monday (this is Monday isn't it?) that to watch something blow up!

Every day is Saturday, right?
Wow!
They got a bang out of that!
Mike, I'm fascinated by these controlled demolitions and always wonder what would happen if they screwed up and the building fell over instead of down?
Impressive! The expertise required amazes me.
Truly spectacular!
Linda Kay - Just happened across this today.
