3465 - The blog list
Here's a blogging question. How long do you keep someone on your blog list? (If you even have a blog list.) At the bottom of my list is Raquel. It's been four plus years since she's posted. And she was a very regular poster until she just up and disappeared.
Then there is a 3 year old blog, then 3 two year blogs. And few 1 year's.
And that's where the latest one came from hiding. Until yesterday the last post was 2-23-15. Then up pops a new post on http://naturesmightypictures.blogspot.com/. The last post before 2015 was 9-15-13. So there can be quite a lengthy period between posts. (This person used to be a pretty regular blogger.)
So I don't want to take them off my blog list because like yesterday I would have never known that nature reemerged. (Hint about the post.)
I guess it doesn't hurt to leave them on the list.

I've added to and deleted from my blog list over the years, and I generally don't keep blogs on it that go dormant for long periods of time (although I do have them bookmarked and check them periodically for activity). Angel is taking a break, but I've left her on my list because what she's already written is so good and worth continuing to share to new readers. Bottom line: I have no real system for deciding when to delete a blog from the list.
I just leave them there, hoping they will return. Did Godot have a blog?

Bilbo - Obviously I error on the side of caution. There's only one person I've taken off recently and that's Amanda. I'm pretty sure she's not going to blog again and I follow her on Facebook anyway. And I also will stick an old blog in a bookmark to check later.
Duckbutt - You made me look up Godot. It was familiar but not enough.
MPP2 - You could probably die and I wouldn't delete you. I would be waiting for stories from the afterlife.
