This is a 10 minute video but it shows an advanced self driving car. (Mercedes) This is what self driving cars will have to do to be on the road with the rest of us.

And closer than we think. Mercedes has made the decision that should a choice be made to save those inside or outside the car, those inside will be prioritized. Many interesting implications to this all including the unemployed drivers (I was a taxi driver)
