3585 - Parking

Parking between the lines. It's a problem for some people.

I've seen windshield notes similar to this in the past. I've even seen bumper sticker type notes that you would stick on the window and were a pain to get off.

But the problem is you don't know what the 'between the line situation' was when that person parked there. Now the picture above is pretty obvious because of the cart corral next to the space. But a lot of times someone is right on the line and you don't know if there was a car on the other side that they were trying to stay away from.

I will pass up a space if it forces me to the line... almost always. It depends on how far the walk will be from a distant 'good' space.

This has me wondering where I might find more examples of bad parkin............. HEY! The internet!!

Was the red car there before? Or was it someone else on the line?

This one is obvious.

I think this was done on purpose for a picture.

Who was where first?

Now this looks like fun.

The ones that grind my gears are the ones who park within the lines, but on a sharp diagonal so that they're almost touching the cars on both sides. That takes skill.

Some parking spaces are too small for wider-based SUVs or trucks. But those lovely specimens don't care. Those who park at a diagonal are my pet peeve too.

1. All parking spaces should be the width of the ones at Costco!
2. my hubby received a set of cards to leave on people's car when they do stupid things like this. They are not P.C. but they are funny and to the point.

so many people don't think what was there before and get all judgmental! Good slice of life Mike
